INTERNAL SUMMER CAMP 

Welcome to the third edition of the Internal Arts Summer Camp, hosted at the Academy of Harmony nestled in the heart of Italy. This unique camp offers a transformative experience for individuals seeking to delve deep into the realms of Daoyin Yangsheng Gong, Wu Style Tai Chi, and Baguazhang.

At the core of our program is Daoyin Yangsheng Gong, an intricate system of exercises integrating movement, breath, and mind to promote holistic health and vitality. Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the graceful movements of Wu Style Tai Chi, known for its gentle yet powerful flow, fostering balance and inner harmony. Additionally, practitioners will explore the circular and fluid movements of Baguazhang, cultivating agility, flexibility, and resilience.

Beyond physical practice, our camp offers theory classes where participants will deepen their understanding of these internal arts. We will explore the connections between movement and meridians, energy points, and traditional Chinese philosophy. Explore the deep wisdom behind these ancient practices, learning about the important beliefs that shape their methods and skills.

Led by amazing instructors and experts in their fields, our camp provides a nurturing environment for personal growth and exploration. Whether you are a advanced practitioner or new to the internal arts, join us for an unforgettable journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and inner transformation.

PROGRAM

5:45 bus leaving from the hotel to the Academy of Harmony

6:00 – 8:00 morning training / Daoing training

8:00 – 9:00 breakfast

9:00 – 11:00 diverse training

11:00 – 12:00 lunch

12:00 – 17:00 break

17:00 – 19:00 diverse training

19:00 dinner

20:30 bus from the Academy to the hotel

Training will take 6 hours a day and it is divided into 4 hours of training in the morning and 2 hours in the early evening. This to avoid the hottest hours of the day.

During the summer camp you will practice and gain more knowledge about:

  • Tuishou/Pushing Hands
  • Theory of Chinese Culture and Philosophy

Program costs

Package 1: 880€ includes 6 hours of training per day, meals and a shared hotel room.
Package 2: 1050€ includes 6 hours of training per day, meals and a single hotel room.
Package 3: 420€ includes only the training. No meals, no hotel.

HOW TO APPLY / ATTEND

1. Make sure you are 18 and up! If not get a family member or guardian to make the journey with you.
2. Fill out the application.
3. We will go over your application, if you pass this phase we will send you a waiver and payment instructions.
4. Complete the payment and submit the waiver.
5. Book a flight landing in Venice, Italy (IT) on July 25, 2024. Note: check to see if you need a VISA.
